The Emerald Meadows' Dalmatian has been carefully bred for quality health, intelligence and a loving, friendly disposition.
Emerald Meadows produces a top quality line of Dalmatians. We take pride in our healthy, friendly, loving companions! It is our belief that a positive personality comes from not only exceptional bloodlines, but also how each Dal is individually raised, nurtured and socialized. Our dals are raised in our loving home with our two small children. They play with the horses, cats and other dogs.
Some facts about Dalmatians:
- A special diet containing NO purine proteins is necessary (no beef, organ meats, or veggies in the cabbage family)
- Lots of high-paced exercise (off leash) is required to keep your Dal healthy and relaxed *
- Dals can not withstand extreme temperatures (hot or cold). They get sunburned and frostbitten very easily.
- Their coats are fine and require very little bathing and grooming
- Dalmatians shed
- They are playful and agile
- Dals are very loyal and true to their owners
- Great with other dogs and children (well socialized Dals are magnificent companions for everyone)
- Kongs and Nylabones are favourite toys for our Dals
*Off-leash exercise is very important, but they must be kept in a safe atmosphere away from roads and vehicles.
These loving companions are available to qualifying owners only.
Our BREEDING PROGRAM includes a special diet, individual puppy training and stimulation, safe exercise, and lots of love. Proper socialization, stimulation and preliminary training are necessary. All puppies are health checked by our Veterinarian and given their first set of vaccinations and are dewormed.
Owners will be given a PUPPY PACKAGE including specific dietary and exercise/safety requirements that need to be followed to sustain our Health Guarantee.
